RPM specfiles are provided for RHEL 7 and SLES environments in the misc directory of Cobalt and may be used to generate RPMs for installation.
Cobalt generates three packages:
Cobalt and cobalt-clients are required on any node that you expect to run commands from, and will install default configuration files and create a cobalt group. Cobalt-node are compute-node utilities required for cluster systems and should be installed on each node that Cobalt is managing.
Once packages are installed, X.509 certs must be generated to secure Cobalt's communications. They may be generated for internal use in Cobalt with the following commands:
